Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

AtipAI Tech respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, and how you can control it. One thing to know up front: the Let's Discuss form does not send anything to us — it opens an email for you to send yourself.

1. Who we are

AtipAI Tech ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We operate from Harare, Zimbabwe and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact us at hello@atipai.tech.

2. Laws we follow

  • Zimbabwe Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07], 2021
  • UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL)
  • The EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies to visitors from those regions

3. Data we collect

  • What you send us: the Let's Discuss form does not transmit or store anything on this website. When you press "Send message", your own email app opens with your details and message already written out for you, and you send it yourself. We only receive what you choose to send — normally your name, email, phone number, organisation, chosen products and message — plus anything you give us when you call, email or WhatsApp us.
  • Technical data: browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location, collected through cookies only where you allow it.
  • Preferences: your cookie choice, kept in your browser for 24 hours, and the products you tick while browsing, which live only in that page's memory and are gone as soon as you close or reload it.

4. How we use it

An enquiry reaches us only once you send the prepared email from your own email app. Nothing you type into the form is passed to us before that, and we cannot see enquiries that are left unsent.

  • To answer enquiries and prepare quotes or prototypes (legitimate interest / steps before a contract).
  • To deliver licensed products and custom projects (contract).
  • To keep the website secure and working (legitimate interest).
  • To understand site usage and improve it (consent).
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting duties (legal obligation).

We never sell your personal data.

5. Who we share it with

The email you send passes through your own email provider on its way to us, so its contents are protected only as far as your provider protects them. Once we hold your data we share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the website, email, messaging (such as WhatsApp) and hosting, under written confidentiality and data protection terms, and with authorities where the law requires it.

6. International transfers

Because we work across Zimbabwe and the UAE and use cloud services, your data may be processed in other countries. We only transfer it where adequate safeguards exist, such as contractual clauses, or with your consent.

7. How long we keep it

Nothing entered into the Let's Discuss form is kept if you do not send the prepared email. Emails you do send us are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, and client and contract records for as long as tax and company law require (normally up to 7 years), then securely deleted or anonymised.

8. Security

This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we use access controls and reputable providers to protect the data we hold. Email is not encrypted end to end by us — anything you send in an email is only as secure as your own email provider makes it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will notify you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.

9. Your rights

  • Access a copy of your data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Data portability
  • Complain to a regulator — POTRAZ (Zimbabwe), the UAE Data Office, or your local authority

Email hello@atipai.tech and we will respond within 30 days.

10. Cookies

See our Cookie Policy for details and how to change your choice.

11. Children

This website is not aimed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. See also our Terms of Use.
